This winter, Moormoth Studio opens its doors for a small series of intimate Christmas wreath-making workshops at my Victorian home in Stockport.

​

Together, we'll create beautiful natural wreaths using fresh seasonal foliage, British dried botanicals, seed heads, grasses, berries and other natural materials, finished with a selection of beautiful ribbons and decorative handmade and carefully collected details.

​

You'll be guided through the process, learning how to build, shape and balance your wreath, while having plenty of freedom to choose the materials and colours that appeal to you. 

​

The workshops are deliberately small, with just eight places, creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere around the table. There will be plenty of time to experiment, chat and enjoy the process, with mulled wine, hot drinks and festive treats along the way.

​

No previous wreath-making experience is needed. Everything you need is provided, including your foliage, materials, tools and ribbons. At the end of the workshop, you'll take home your finished wreath ready to hang for Christmas.

The Moormoth Table

 

I'll fill the Moormoth table with a beautiful mix of seasonal foliage, British dried botanicals, grasses, seed heads, berries and natural finds for you to choose from. The selection will change with the season, so there will always be something new to discover.

​

To finish your wreath, you'll be able to choose from a beautiful collection of hand-marbled and botanically dyed ribbons, alongside linen, velvet, scrim and vintage ribbons, each bringing its own colour, texture and character to your wreath.

​

You’ll also be able to create a personal Wellwish tag, embossing your own word, name or message into a metal tag, and choose from a selection of hand-made metal botanical accents to add a final little detail to your wreath.

​

I love the idea that these little details make every wreath feel completely individual, a little collection of beautiful treasures to rummage through, combine and make your own.
